A TALE OF TWO PRETTIES
10 TIPS FOR GETTING GORGEOUS INSIDE AND OUT

Have you ever met a woman who was gorgeous—stunning face, great hair, winning smile, fabulous body—but as you
got to know her, she became less and less attractive? How about the woman who, at first glance is just your average
plain Jane, but as you spend more time with her, she starts to look like a beauty queen in your eyes?

While there is often a disparity—perceived and actual—between the two kinds of beauty, I'm here to tell you that there
doesn't have to be. One does not and should not negate the other. Seeking to look better by upping your outer beauty
is not a detractor from good nature, kindness, spirituality and depth of character. While working on making yourself a
better person on the inside doesn't mean that you can neglect your physical appearance.

Being your own special and unique kind of pretty, inside and out, equals one truly gorgeous woman. Here are ten easy ways to tap into your beautiful—mind, body and soul:

Tale of Two Pretties1. Drink plenty of water.
It's vital to drink water every day. The proper amount is half your body weight in ounces per day. When you have sufficient hydration your skin will glow, your eyes will sparkle,  you'll have more energy, a clearer head and a better overall perspective on life. Try it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

2. Get eyelash extensions.
They are the newest craze in beauty. You can have movie star eyelashes that last up to two months. Eyelash extensions are an easy way to be instantly glamorous.

3. Buy yourself something you absolutely love.
Always wear at least one item you love, whether it's clothing, jewelry or an accessory. When you wear something you love, you will project confidence—and that is definitely attractive.

4. Challenge yourself not to say anything negative for one week.
This shift can be habit forming. Before you know it, you will have trained yourself to be a more positive person. If you catch yourself saying something negative, then start your week over. (Yes, you have to do it even while driving.)  Why not start now?

5. Take essential fatty acids.
This will help your hair and skin to be softer and also speed up your metabolism. EFAs can also help improve skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and other skin rashes. EFAs have also been liked to the improvement of brain development and function—now that's one smart pill.

6. Go for a colonic.
Colon hydrotherapy is a great way to cleanse your body of unwanted toxins. There's excess matter that gets stuck on the walls of your colon—and it stays there for years and years. A  colonic gets rid of that toxin-laden junk. This expulsion will immediately improve your mood, make you feel lighter not only of body, but of mind. The whites of your eyes will brighten, your skin will radiate and your whole body will function more effectively and efficiently. A healthy digestive tract and colon is vital for your overall health.

7. Whiten your teeth.
When you whiten your teeth, you're more likely to do number 8.

8. Smile.
Smiling makes you and everyone around you feel good. When was the last time you smiled at a stranger walking by? Did you catch yourself smiling long after you passed? Do your best to make eye contact with that smile, too. You won't believe how happy you'll feel.

9. Write in a journal.
Start your journal off on a good note, by making a list of everything—and everyone—you are grateful to have in your life. Work to write in your journal daily and be sure to note what you are thankful for on that particular day. Forcing yourself to do a daily inventory will do wonders for your sense of calm, fulfillment and happiness.

10. Find something about yourself everyday that you love.
If you're having a difficult time with this one, ask your friends to write down five things that they love about you. You will be very surprised and motivated by their answers.

These ten little tips breed big change. Everyone can do them, they're not expensive and they don't take up much of your time. You've got to be able to love the woman in the mirror.—Melissa Clifton
