FOR MONMOUTH COUNTY, THE SAFETY OF ITS CHILDREN IS MORE THAN CHILD'S PLAY
It was an Evening of Games of Skill and Chance for many Monmouth County residents who got their play on for the
building of The Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center. Large boardwalk-themed tents sported old school water guns,
baseball tosses, break-a-plate contests, roller ball, football tosses and a caricaturist, just to name a few. Gamers
purchased tickets with prices ranging from $50.00 to $300.00. All the proceeds from the night benefited the future
Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC).
Every year, there are over 600 cases of child abuse reported in Monmouth County alone. The goal of Friends of MCCAC
is to have one safe, child-friendly facility with state-of-the-art equipment in which Monmouth County's youngest victims
can comfortably come to meet all the professionals under one roof.
